Greetings! I am delighted as we are approaching this new program year with a fantastic team of officers and committee chairs.  I am honored to hold the office of Regional Secretary-Treasurer and humbled by the fact that the Regional Team is a strong team of professional and talented ladies with many gifts.  We are on a purposeful journey, excited about planning a year that will excite our members, enchant our children, and engage our fathers in meaningful and supportive programs. 

There was an atmosphere of sisterhood, spirit, and dedication at Area Workday 2007 in Beaumont, Texas.  The workday was attended by members from as far as New Orleans and Waco.  Please join me in salutations to Regional Director Lesa Rice-Jackson, and the Beaumont Chapter for the hard work and dedication given towards a successful event.  The workday had approximately 414 in attendance.  The region donated over 220 coats to a local charity, Some Other Place, and provided 6 tricycles as well.

May peace guard our hearts and minds as we give thanks for the memories and the blessings shared together.
