Regional Director

Welcome to the home page of the “Fabulous” Far West Region.

It is with great honor that I serve at the 2007-2009 Far West Regional Director. Our region consists of 28 chapters with over 1000 families in Alaska, Arizona, California, Nevada and Washington. Our regional theme for the upcoming years is “Connected to the Community, Committed to Families and Conquering the World for Children” and this theme truly speaks to the commitment and passion of this region. Our Region is committed to enhancing our communities, strengthening families, and making this world a better place for children everywhere.

Our Regional Team is dedicated to each of you and works hard to make our region great. Our appointed and elected officers are full of energy and enthusiasm. They truly believe in leadership as service and dedicate their time to helping you and your family. I am so proud to work with them and to be a part of this region. If you ever need our assistance, please feel free to call us and we will be there for you.

As we walk through life, everyday brings new challenges. We should embrace those challenges and make everyday a good day. As we watch our children grow, we begin to see ourselves in them. Teach your children love and they will show you love. Teach them compassion and they will become compassionate. Teach them kindness and they will show kindness to others. These ideas are not new and we must be the shinning example for our children. Remember, we are developing our future leaders today.

We have embarked on an exciting and fun filled journey for the next two years. As we move through the time together, I wish you the best as you create successful programs that enrich the lives of our children and families throughout the region.
